In the fourth quarter of 2024, the tools apps category on the Android platform in Greece saw varied performance across its top applications. Data from Sensor Tower provides insights into weekly downloads, revenue, and active user trends for these apps.

NordVPN – fast VPN for privacy by Nord Security showed a gradual decline in weekly revenue, starting at approximately $1.8K and ending the quarter around $1.3K. Downloads reached a high of 2.9K in late December, reflecting a positive trend from a low of 1.3K in October. Active users fluctuated throughout the quarter, peaking at over 15.2K mid-December before settling at 13.4K by the end of the year.

Avast Antivirus & Security from Avast Software maintained a steady revenue stream, generally hovering around $800, with a slight peak of $856 in early December. Weekly downloads varied slightly, reaching 1.6K in October and closing the year at 1.4K. Active users saw a consistent increase, growing from 23.2K to a peak of 36.9K in early November, before stabilizing around 33.3K.

DeepSwap PRO by META WAY experienced a significant drop in weekly revenue, starting strong at $1.7K and dropping to $865 by the end of December. The app did not record any downloads during this period.

ESET Mobile Security Antivirus from ESET showed an increase in weekly revenue mid-quarter, reaching a high of $957 in late November before settling at $580 by the end of December. Downloads remained relatively stable, starting and ending the quarter around 150. Active users fluctuated slightly, with a minor increase from 1.6K to 1.6K over the quarter.

ExpressVPN: Fast & Secure VPN by ExpressVPN saw variability in weekly revenue, with a notable peak of $776 in early December, before a sharp decline to $217 by the end of the year. Downloads were consistent, averaging around 400, with a slight dip in November. Active users decreased from 798 to 613 over the quarter.
